Mrs. Soma Kodikara, beloved mother of Prof (Mrs) Niranjanee Ratnayake, one of our Past Presidents has passed away. A private funeral will take place on 07th May 2020 at Udahamulla, Nugegoda. She was 102 years old at the time of her death.

It is with great sorrow that we inform you of the demise of Emeritus Professor Eng. D C H Senerath, an Honorary Life Fellow of the IESL. He held many official posts at the University of Moratuwa since its inception, including the Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and the Chairman of the Board of Residence and Discipline of the university. A private funeral will be held today (02nd April 2020) due to the prevailing situation in the country.
