IESL Ruhuna Chapter Annual Cricket Tournament 2025

The IESL Ruhuna Chapter successfully conducted its Annual Cricket Tournament 2025 on Saturday, 28th June 2025, at the Kotawila Labeema New Playground, with enthusiastic participation from engineers across the Southern Region.

Teams representing both public and private sectors competed in a spirited and friendly atmosphere. After a series of exciting matches, the Hambantota International Port Team emerged as Champions, while the Private Sector 1 Team secured the 1st Runners-up position.

Individual awards were presented to Eng. Janitha Rupasena (Best Bowler – Private Sector 1 Team), Eng. Avishka (Best Batsman – Hambantota International Port Team), and Eng. Thilina Mendis (Man of the Series – Hambantota International Port Team).

The Chapter extends its sincere appreciation to all participants and organizers for making the event a success and looks forward to hosting more member-focused activities in the future.
