BUSINESS ANALYTICS VIA DATA SCIENCE PRINCIPLES

Business Analytics Via Data Science Principles was successfully concluded in May & July 2019. Business Analytics Via Data Science Principles CPD course was successfully conducted from 26^th of May 2019 to 21^st of July 2019. This CPD programme was led by Eng (Dr.) Asoka Korale

The main objectives of the training programme were,

• Introduce principles of Business Analytics and Concepts of Data Science
• Emphasis on algorithms to enable participants to later develop their own schemes
• Provide expertise to modify existing algorithms to suit a particular business application
• Expose participants to the derivation of algorithms from first principles
• Develop analyst skills to distil insights from data and assess the impact on a business problem
• Develop skills to communicate insights mined from data
• Provide awareness of new developments in Data Science / Business Analytics
• Provide key skills and Competencies required by 21st-century Analysts / Engineers

There were 23 participants of the Business Analytics Via Data Science Principles CPD Programme was acknowledged upon successfully completing the course. IESL would like to thank the Resource person, CPD Committee, participants and IESL CPD staff of Education Division for making this CPD Programme a Success.
