Speaker, Dr Ranjith Liyanapathirana is currently a Senior Lecturer in Telecommunications at Western Sydney University.  His areas of research interest include digital communication, wireless sensor networks, biomedical engineering and infrastructure health monitoring. He is the co-author of more than 175 peer-reviewed conference and journal articles in IEEE, IET and other publications. He is a senior member of the IEEE and a senior member of the Australian Computer Society.
