Registration of members to be listed in The Directory of Building Services Engineers 2024/2025
As per the Urban Development Authority Law No. 41 of 1978, when Building Plans are submitted to the Urban Development Authority (UDA) for approval, the UDA can request that drawings related to the building services of such plans be prepared by a Qualified Person in the field of Building Services Engineering.
A. NEW REGISTRATION

Corporate Members of the Institution who wish to register as Qualified Persons in the field of Building Services Engineering for the first time are requested to apply for registration using the application form No: CEOO/BSE/FO/05 available for collection from the IESL Secretariat or downloadable from our website. (Please click - CEOO/BSE/FO/05) The duly filled application form has to be accompanied by the proof of payment as indicated below:

Fee for applying new sub-discipline
|
LKR 5,000/= per each sub-discipline
|
The application would be processed only if the member has settled his/her IESL membership subscription fees up to and including the year 2025.
Please send the duly filled application along with the receipt to sanduni@iesl.lk on or before 30th December 2024 and obtain an acknowledgement to ensure that your application has been duly received by the IESL.
B. CONTINUATION

Corporate Members who have already registered with the Institution as Qualified Persons in the field of Building Services Engineering, can now get their names listed in the 2024/2025 Directory of Building Services Engineers by applying for same using the application form NO: CEOO/BSE/FO/06 available for collection from the IESL Secretariat or downloadable from our website. (Please click - CEOO/BSE/FO/06) The duly filled application form has to be accompanied by the proof of payment as indicated below:

Fee for renewing existing sub-discipline
|
LKR 2,500/= per each sub-discipline
|
The application would be processed only if the member has settled his/her subscription fees up to and including the year 2025.
Please send the duly filled application along with the receipt to sanduni@iesl.lk on or before 30th December 2024 and obtain an acknowledgement to ensure that your application has been duly received by the IESL.
All applications in respect of items (A) & (B) above should reach the Institution on or before 30th December 2024.
