RE: UPDATING CONTACT DETAILS AND VOTING PREFERENCE FOR IESL ELECTIONS - 2021

1. This refers to our letter dated 13^th May 2021 sent via registered post on the subject matter to all eligible voters who are residing in Sri Lanka.
2. The deadline to submit requested details as indicated in the said letter is 01^st July 2021. However, due to the pandemic situation in the country, there were some unexpected postal delays and as a result this letter would not have been received by you on time.
3. It was therefore decided by the CRO and AROs to extend the deadline by 3 weeks to accept contact details (if there are any changes) and voting preference. The new deadline is 21^st July 2021.
4. Those who have opted for manual voting will receive ballot papers through a Courier Service. The duly completed ballot papers secured in sealed envelopes can be returned to the institution through the same courier service before the closing time of the poll. Voters will also have the option to post them or deposit them in the ballot box kept at the Secretariat.
