IESL SOUTHERN - RUHUNU CHAPTER is the southern provincial centre of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka, popularly known as the IESL, which is the premier professional body for engineers in Sri Lanka. IESL SOUTHERN– RUHUNU CHAPTER was established in 1995. Members of IESL who are employed or reside in southern province whether Fellows, Corporate, Associate or Companion members are also automatically members of IESL SOUTHERN– RUHUNU CHAPTER. Its membership presently stands at around 400, covering almost all disciplines of engineering. There are many attractions and benefits to the members of IESL SOUTHERN– RUHUNU CHAPTER which is committed towards uplifting the status and the interests of the engineering profession in the southern province of Sri Lanka.

IESL SOUTHERN– RUHUNU CHAPTER office is located at Room No-29, Faculty of Engineering, University of Ruhuna, Hapugala, Galle.
