IESL Induction, Graduation Ceremonies for 2022

The Induction and Graduation Ceremony 2022 of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) was held on 17 June at the BMICH. Eng. (Prof.) N T Sohan Wijesekera, Chairman of the Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA) was the chief guest.

Associate Members of the institution who completed the Professional Review process were inducted to Chartered Engineers, which is a distinguished position recognised all over the country. This year 612 were inducted as Chartered Engineers. Also, students who successfully completed the IESL examinations received their graduation certificates.

Further, schoolchildren who participated in the Junior Inventor of the Year (JIY) Competition organised by IESL for 2021 received their scholarships. Winners of IESL competitions organised for Engineering Undergraduates (Migara Rathnatunga Trust Awards and Eng. E. W. Karunaratna Awards) also received their rewards.
