IESL holds its first virtual AGM

The AGM of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka was held on 31st of October 2020 from 9.00 AM for the first time as an online meeting. Due to the prevailing situation in the country and the government imposed restrictions for gatherings, the Council of the IESL decided to hold the AGM of the institution on a virtual platform.

As the leading institution in the country representing engineers, IESL taking initiation to hold the AGM online is a huge step, setting an example for other organizations and institutions to embrace the possibilities of the latest technologies. Attended by more than 150 corporate members of the institution, IESL AGM 2020 had been a successful event.
