Young Members’ Section of IESL, initiated “IESL YMS Blog” in 2020 with purpose of offering a worthy space for the young engineers in Sri Lanka, whom with the passion for creativity, to share their novel and innovative ideas; giving them the inspiration to contribute for the betterment of the country and the society as a whole. Since this initiation had a great success, we decided to continue YMS Blog for this year as well.

All the Young Engineers and undergraduates are eligible to submit their technical articles, non-technical articles, poems and stories in any language monthly. We will accept articles from 15th to 30th of respective month and after reviewing the articles we will announce the best article winner for the month. The reviewing of the articles will be done by expert university lecturers and industry professionals. You can see the YMS blog using the following link.

YMS blog is helping young engineers and undergraduates to build up their writing skills and share their ideas to the engineering community. We have received articles for the month July from university undergraduates and young engineers in different sectors. Ms. Yashodha Hansini, an undergraduate of university of Jaffna became the best article writer for the month July 2021.
