Please email to dir.pub@iesl.lk your success story or your colleague's one with only the following information: members full name, membership number ( must be a current session member ), short title for the story, current place of work and title, high school and university education ( with joining/batch years and not the graduating year), a very brief career highlight covering last 5-10 years at max ( not a resume) indicating key positions held and where, IESL Activities, and a professional photograph of the bust. Vital Statistics:
Education: Pihimbiyagollewa Maha Vidyalaya, Anuradhapura St, Josephs College, Trincomalee Sinhala Central College and Anuradhapura Central College. B.Sc. (Mechanical Engineering) Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya (Class of E/87). Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial Engineering in Open University. Currently following a Masters degree in Occupational Safety and Health at University of Moratuwa.

Career Highlights: After passing out from the University he joined private sector for 5 years and later joined the Industrial Development Board as a Designs Engineer. In 2000, he joined Sri Lanka Engineering Service as the Asst, Works Manager, Government Factory . He came to Uva Province in 2001 and joined the Mechanical Engineering Workshop, Kahagolla as a Mechanical Engineer and a Bio Medical Engineer. In 2008, he joined the Department of Labour as the District Factory Inspecting Engineer in Badulla, Monaragala and Ampara Districts.
IESL Activities: He is an active member of IESL Uva Chapter and he was the Chairman during sessions 2010/2011 and 2012/ 2013. During his long affiliation with the Uva Chapter, he has worked in many other roles to enhance IESL image and serve its members as a whole.
