“Let’s make our Vision a reality soon, we have it within us to make it happen” – That was the essence of the speech that the President delivered to the staff of the IESL Secretariat who gathered at the Members Lounge to partake of the traditional ‘Kiribath’ on the first working day of the new year.
He also stated that very often we don’t realize the esteem in which others hold our institution. It’s only now, after he took over the responsibilities of the presidency, that he feels the full impact of the respect that professional organizations in other countries have for the IESL. He also stated that during his interactions with them at international forums he has realized that the quality of the human and technological resources we already possess could easily live up to and be harnessed to elevate the status of the IESL to that of the best professional body anywhere in the world.
A multi religious programme was conducted Tuesday, 10th January, 2017 where religious dignitaries from the Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic and Christian religions participated and invoked blessing on the IESL.
