Welcome to another audio session (duration 11 minutes) of the SLEN ICT Corner. In this episode we will continue to articulate some of the key features and benefits of our new membership management system - Wild Apricot. We will discuss about Blogs & Forums, Digital SLEN, and Events.

We are very pleased to let you know that little more than 6,000 members out of the 12,822 ( as of Oct 1, 2013) have signed into the new membership management system within two and half months! More than one email reminder to do so have gone out during this period and we will continue to remind you. But, if you cannot find an email reminder anymore, and you are very keen to register and login (you should, as the system is the main means of correspondence between the IESL and the membership), please contact Ms. Sewwandi (Nimesha) at the Membership Department. 2013 Membership Dues - Don't Delay Payments All membership fees are due on the 1st of the year (January 1, 2013).

Current IESL by Laws allow a grace period of unprecedented 11 months (Nov 30, 2013). Through the new Membership Management System, members who have not paid have been alerted via email and for this year only, reminder letters have been posted. When you login to the new system you will see the invoice and the methods to pay.
If not paid by Nov 30, 2013, the system will automatically remove the defaulters (on Dec 1, 2013) membership and electronic directories will not show their names. Losing membership means losing the Charter for the corporate members. All those who lose will have to go through a reinstatement process as per the by laws which is similar to obtaining a new membership under prevailing rules!!. Next year new laws will come into place to further tighten the process and grace periods. So please pay your dues and be considerate towards policies and ethics of the IESL. Contact Miss.
