IESL Kandurata Chapter Successfully Hosts Annual General Meeting 2025

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the IESL Kandurata Chapter was successfully held on 31st January 2025 at the Oak Ray Regency in Kandy. The event saw a large gathering of engineers, marking a significant occasion for the chapter and its members.

The outgoing executive committee expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the engineers who attended and contributed to the success of the AGM. Their support and active participation were instrumental in making the past year’s events a tremendous success. The committee recognized the significant contributions of all members, which led to the smooth execution of numerous events throughout the year.

A special mention was made to the outgoing Chairman, Eng. D.V. Medawatta, whose leadership and guidance played a pivotal role in steering the chapter’s initiatives. The committee also extended their deepest thanks to all the committee members and representatives for their unwavering support and hard work, which ensured the success of every event organized during the year.

A special word of appreciation was directed toward the young engineers who embraced responsibility and performed their roles with dedication and excellence. Their enthusiasm and commitment were highly valued, and their efforts were crucial in achieving the chapter's goals.

Looking ahead, the outgoing committee congratulated the newly appointed Chairman and executive committee members, wishing them success in continuing the chapter's mission to enhance the recognition of the engineering profession in the central province. The outgoing committee reassured the new leadership of their full support and commitment in helping them carry out their duties.

The IESL Kandurata Chapter looks forward to another year of growth, collaboration, and continued contributions to the development of the engineering profession in Sri Lanka.
