| IESL officials visit Institution of Engineers Malaysia |

A team of IESL officials comprising Eng Shavidranath Fernando President elect, Eng Mangala Silva Honorary Secretary, Eng Prabodha Jinasena Chairman Civil Engineering Sectional Committee and Eng Thummini Abeywardane, Seretary Civil Engineering Sectional Committee made a courtesy call at the Institution of Engineers Malaysia(IEM) on 20th September 2013. IESL officials had a fruitful meeting with the President Institution of Engineers Malaysia, Ir. Choo Kok Beng, Executive Director Ir. Cheang Kok Meng, Excomm Member Ir. K Gunasagaram and IEM secretariat staff.

During the discussion, Technical Corporation and knowledge transfer were discussed as main talking points and a Memorandum of understanding was also signed between IESL and IEM by Eng Shavidranath Fernando and Ir. Choo Kok Beng in this regard. Both parties principally agreed to exchange the knowledge and personnel in future activities. A memento from CESC/IESL was also presented to IEM to mark the occasion.
