Eng. (Prof.) E O E Pereira Memorial Oration 2020

The IESL commemorated the 113th birth anniversary of Late Prof. E O E Pereira, considered as the Father of Engineering Education in Sri Lanka, on 11th September 2020 with a memorial lecture on "Resolving Issues in the Construction Industry - Some Thoughts" delivered by Eng. (Dr) S B Wijekoon. The lecture was preceded by the lighting of the traditional Oil Lamp and garlanding of the portrait of the late professor by Eng. (Prof.) S B S Abayakoon, President of IESL. Family members of the late professor were present at the event which was also attended by Past Presidents and members of the IESL..
