I assumed the duties as IESL president for session 2015/16, during the AGM held on 24th Oct 2015. It is a great pleasure for me to become the President of the 110 years young Prestigious Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka after serving in the council from 1999, almost after 15 years.

Inauguration of 109th Annual Sessions

The 109th Annual Sessions of the IESL was ceremonially inaugurated on Friday 16th October, 2015 at the BMICH from 9.00 AM onwards in the presence of a capacity crowd consisted of Council Members, Past Presidents, Corporate Members, spouses, awardees, special invitees and guests. Hon. Minister of Megapolis and Western Development Eng. Patali Champika Ranawaka graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while Senior Professor and former Vice Chancellor of the University of Moratuwa, Prof. Malik Ranasinghe was the Guest of Honour.

School children awarded at IESL 109th Annual Sessions

School children who won Gold Medals under various categories of the Junior Inventor of the Year 2015 competition were presented their awards at the inauguration of the 109th Annual Sessions of the IESL held at the BMICH on Friday, 16th October, 2015. They received their gold medals, certificates and cash prizes from the Chief Guest, Hon. Minister of Megapolis and Western Development, Eng. Patali Champika Ranawaka and Eng. (Dr.) S.B.Wijekoon, President of the IESL 2014/15, accompanied by Vice President, IESL Eng. J. Meegoda.

Online Payment of Membership Dues and Event Registration Fees
 
Online Payment

As per by-laws, if a member does not pay membership fees prior to the 1st of December of the current year, that membership will be removed automatically from the system at 00:00 hrs on Dec 1st. As many of you may have experienced, we get an email in December of the previous year requesting us to pay the dues on or before January 1st of the following year.
