IESL Sabaragamuwa Centre, held its Annual General Meeting.
The Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) Sabaragamuwa Centre, held its Annual General Meeting Monday 09th December of 2013 at Sapthapadhi Hotel, Ratnapura in the presence of a large gathering of around 120 of its members, distinguished guests and special invitees. Eng. Tilak De Silva, Immediate Past President of the Institution of Engineers, Eng. S. B. Wijekoon President Elect of the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka, the parent body of the Centre, were the Chief Guests. Eng. T.M.S.K Tilakaratna, Deputy General Manager, Samanala Complex and Eng. Perera, Chief Engineer of Kukuleganga Power Plant of CEB were the Guest Speakers of the occasion. Progress review of the past year was done by Eng. Sanjaya Kumara. Sripada Lightning Protection System, inauguration of Kegalle District Centre, CPD programs, Awareness programs conducted, Field Visits and Friendly Cricket Match were highlighted.
