Are you reading digital SLEN...?

Can you remember that there was a questionnaire survey conducted by IESL recently? It had two questions about Digital SLEN;

1 Since August 2013, New IESL Digital SLEN arrives twice a month to your email box with multimedia clips, up to date news, featured articles that are of original content, field photos, etc. What is your perception about it?
2 What do you want to see in Digital SLEN?

There were more than 1000 respondents. 980 answered the above two questions and 132 had skipped them. More than 70% out of 980 had accepted the digital SLEN as a better newsletter and 800 had expressed that they wanted articles on new trends in engineering technology. We respect your views and will concentrate on the expressions you raised.

However, I personally think that the no of respondents were very low (only 1112). This low number intuitively says one or more of the followings.

1 Our members did not get the questionnaire because most of them had not registered online yet.
2 Membership was not interested in spending some time in filling the questionnaire.
3 They were really busy and postponed filling the questionnaire and later it was forgotten.

You may suggest to me more reasons, but please try to give this message to your engineering colleagues. If they have not registered yet, please encourage them to do that, otherwise they will miss very important information in the future. Also, do not forget to remind them to read the Digital SLEN too.
