IESL Vadakkin Chapter has successfully completed its first CPD Course “Contract Administration (Based on SBD 3)” on 26th of January 2019 at the auditorium of Water Board Regional Manager’s Office in Jaffna. It was a full day session and the resource person was Eng. S. Shanmuhananthan. He is the Deputy Chief Secretary (Engineering Services) of the Northern Provincial Council and former Provincial Director (North) of Irrigation Department. 48 Engineers both from the public and private sector participated in this session.

Notably, there was a huge interest from young engineers employed in NWS&DB, RDA, RDD, BD, ID, CEB, SLT. It was a great opportunity to the engineers from the Vadakkin Chapter to learn about the contract administration. Certificates also were provided to the engineers confirming their participation.
