The Institution of Engineers is initiating its mentoring programme, starting with a pilot programme in the year 2024 onwards. If you’re looking for the next step in your career or you want help from someone who’s already walked in your shoes, then MyMentor program might be right for you.

GOAL OF MyMentor PROGRAMME?

The goal of this program is to connect engineers from all disciplines with senior practitioners, leaders and technical experts to help guide them through all the professional and personal challenges they face in their early career.

THE LAUNCHING CEREMONY & AWARENESS SESSION

We invite Associate Members, Members & Fellows of IESL to join us at the Launching Ceremony & Awareness Program (conducted as a hybrid event) on Wednesday, 3rd July 2024 at 05.00 p.m. The physical event will be held in the IESL Wimalasurendra Auditorium [limited only for the invitees] and you are encouraged to join via Zoom.

BECOMING A MENTOR

If you are a Member or Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka, you have a lot to offer engineers who are looking to take a step up in their career, this role is for you. Mentors often learn a lot too and you can improve your leadership and interpersonal skills, get exposed to new ideas and ways of thinking, all the while paying it forward and sharing your experiences. If you have the skills and energy to help others, then we want to hear from you.

BECOMING A MENTEE

If you are a member of the Institution of Engineers Sri Lanka and at the Associate Member level, then you might benefit from having a mentor in the field. A good mentor can offer many benefits, such as personal development and networking opportunities, increased confidence and much more to enable you to reach your career goals easier and faster.
