The AGM of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka was held on 31^st of October 2020 from 9.00 AM for the first time through Zoom online platform. Due to the prevailing situation in the country and the government imposed restrictions for gatherings, the Council of the IESL decided to hold the AGM of the institution through online Zoom platform.

As the leading engineering institution in the country, IESL taking initiation to hold the AGM online is a huge step, setting an example for other organizations and institutions to embrace the possibilities of latest technologies.

Attended by more than 150 corporate members of the institution, AGM 2020 was a successful event.
