On behalf of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, I wish to give our heartfelt congratulations to the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka for its admission as full signatory to the Washington Accord.

We wish to continue our close collaboration with the IESL in both Washington Accord and International Professional Engineers Agreement, and join hands in upholding the well recognised international standard for engineering education and professional practice.
